Dear President Biden: Student Debt Is a Queer Issue, Too
If President Biden wants to support the LGBTQ+ community, he can start by freeing us from high interest rates and predatory lenders.

If you’re part of the community, you already know how this happens — and why it’s so urgent to fix it: Too many queer, non-binary, and trans folks I know have had parents rescind promises to pay for higher education — and others never got that support in the first place. That forces many LGBTQ+ students to rely on Federal Student Aid, scholarship applications, and loans in order to attend college, but the problems don’t end there.
